Frank E'Dalgo

On January 14, 2001 at 8:55 A.M. one of the great leaders of the IAMAW passed away.

Frank started working in Florida as an orange picker and crater during the season and return to Georgia to work on his father's farm.

Frank graduated from High School and left home to follow migrant workers from Florida to Maine. He was hired by the AFL as an organizer, and he organized the first citrus plant in Florida.

Frank then joined the IAMAW as a Grand Lodge Representative. He spent most of his time, at first, in the sugar industry. He started Local Lodge 2152 and changed Local Lodge 57 from a Federal Union to the IAMAW.

For many years Frank helped District Lodge 166 and it's affiliated loges with negotiations and grievances.

This gentleman was retired Grand Lodge Representative Frank E'Dalgo, he will be missed by all.
