| Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Have you ever heard this phrase before? It's true Brothers and Sisters that without Organizing in this day and time our Union as we know it could one day be unable to bring forth the wages, benefits and working conditions we have grown accustomed to. The laws of our land have made it harder for us to organize the working men and women of our country. We are quickly losing the level playing field with the Corporations who run this land. It gets harder and tougher all the time to bring justice to the work place. But try we must! We must because it is our duty to help the ones who need help and making it possible for those who want and need it to organize and unionize! With these words said I ask you for your help. As the Organizer for District Lodge 166, I'm asking each one of you to look around you and your work place, your neighborhood and communities, friends and relatives and in general just people you know about joining the Union. In other words I'm looking in our own house for leads and contacts for organizing. Ask them do they want to feel better about their jobs. Ask them do they want security, better wages and health benefits, the ability to grieve their problems to an impartial arbitrator. Let them know about your experiences with the union and the benefits they can also have with a Union. Our need for organizing has never been greater Brothers and Sisters. Once you have identified prospective members I'm going to ask you to do something. I am enclosing an organizing lead form for you to fill out and send back to me. This will help in our quest for organizing here in south/central Florida. Remember Brothers and Sisters The LIFE BLOOD OF OUR UNION is ORGANIZING!
